Ubuntu to start selling its first phone

After a year of promises Canonical is now launching the first Ubuntu smartphone. Though i see no reason why normal smartphone user will go crazy about it because there's really nothing special about it, just that its ubuntu first phone.
Its specification is not that eye catchy.
It has a 4.5-inch, 540x960 resolution display, a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek Cortex A7 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
For shutterbugs, there's also a 8- megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front.
The price is approximately €169.90 ($195). The bad news about this phone is that they are not planning to sell it outside Europe.
The first Ubuntu handset will be sold starting from Monday Feb 9th 2014. The phone will be sold through a series of online flash sales.
